Overview
A fragrance manufacturer was tracking everything in spreadsheets. Raw materials, finished products, customer orders, and sales revenue across multiple sales channels. This caused constant stockouts because they'd miss reorder points leading to frequent overselling because calculating available capacity required checking multiple sheets manually, and zero visibility into whether they were actually making money. When materials got modified, wasted, or went missing, there was no record of what happened or why.
The Challenges
Stockouts during Production
No automated alerts meant they only discovered material shortages when trying to produce. Critical oils or packaging would run out unexpectedly, stopping production and losing sales.
